When initially configured the cluster, I set it up to use a domain admin user. Because other issues - not related with cluster - we had with this account, it was deleted and recreated the same account (The same spelling - identical account name). The cluster service will not start using the newly created domain admin account.
Then I changed the cluster service to use a userid with domain admin rights (also member of the local Administrators group) and password. The service does not start due to the following error:

Could not start the Cluster Service service on Local Computer.
Error 1314: A required privilege is not held by the client.
